My first introduction to terriers was over forty years ago. My father found a Wire Fox Terrier dog. I was so pleased when nobody came to claim him from that day i have been dog mad. I bred my first litter of wires at fourteen and began showing a few years later.
I have a lot of success over the years the most memorable being Best in Show at Crufts with Buttons a Welsh Terrier better known as CH. Purston Hit and Miss From Brocolitia. Also the Wire Fox Terrier CH. Brocolitia Best Kept Secret a multiple group and Best in Show winner at general championship shows.
I have made several Irish Champions and have been top breeder of Lakelands in Ireland for the last two years.
I am a long standing member of the Wire Fox Terrier Association and serve on the commitee and hold the position of vice chairwoman. I am also involved in the welfare and rehoming of Wire fox terriers.
I award Challenge Certificates in Wire Fox Terriers and Welsh Terriers.
I strive to breed healthy, happy and sound dogs of the correct size and breed type.
